We're going home for Christmas in 2 weeks - so it's not like we'll actually get to enjoy it on the actual holiday.... But our little bit of Christmas here in our Boston home makes me really happy :)

We need something festive around here to help ease the pain of not only finals for Kenneth, but our first snow storm. blech.
(trust me, all of you in more moderate climates - this is no good for anyone:)
*Note: I do realize that my basket of pinecones and artificial Christmas tree are not nearly as awesome as some of your holiday decorations - but this is our first time. Hopefully someday we'll be a little fancier..

Whatever...your stuff is cute. I love the quilts and pinecones. We've only done a real tree once (though we plan on doing it every year now) and we don't have a nativity. I think your holiday household is festive indeed. Merry Christmas friend!
love Love LOVE it! how i wish i could run upstairs and see it in person. i SO wish i was at the wreath making activity! i didn't go to my RS christmas party. in part because i just had a baby(*see note below) but mainly because i knew it woulnd't be as awesome as what i was missing out on in boston. it made me really sad.
and for the record, our tree is fake and we too have a basket of pinecones. not even a basket, a giant green bowl. you are way fancier.
*i keep forgetting to tell you, but while i was in labor for some reason i had that song "sunshine, lillipops and rainbows everywhere..." stuck in my head! i was so annoyed at first wondering why it was in my head, then i started laughing and thought of you and kenneth and our converstations about giving birth being like green meadows and rainbows. ha!
Cute!! We didn't get to enjoy our Christmas decorations on the day of either for a few years, but in my book, Christmas is all about the anticipation anyway. (I'm all bleary-eyed on Christmas day anyway, from the lack of sleep. . .)
