It's official - we signed the papers today! We are moving into 39 Shepard street. We aren't moving until September 1st, that's when our contract ends at our current apartment. But, obviously, the celebration starts now and continues all summer long. We have loved our current apartment, it has been a great place to live for the past 2 years.. But it is definitely time to move and it will seem so nice to have 2 bedrooms, a parking space and friends near by.
Plan now for our awesome housewarming party in the fall!

just to let you know, i will be asking you to borrow stuff all the time. here is a list of the most common things i borrow from melanie, just so you can be sure to have extra on hand:
sugar (brown and white), flour, eggs, various spices, soy sauce, bullion cubes, muffin tray, glass baking dish, pie plate...maybe i'll stop there. i don't want you to regret your decision.
but in return, i can promise you shared dinners, treats and good company.

if only the move could have been one year sooner! oh well. the spirit of the fillmores will live on in 39 shepard st., so you can feel like we're there with you.
We will always be there with you, too. I don't know how or why... we just will.
We're happy for you guys! We hope you're able to fit your ginormous couch in your new apartment. :)
